Statistix analyses various types of data that the user inputs and returns the desired results. This program includes a lot of features and offers many analysis methods, therefore, a high level of statistics knowledge is required. Given the multitude of features included in Statistix, it should be mentioned that the program price isn't quite accessible to anyone.
The graphical user-interface of Statistix reminds me of the one of Microsoft Excel. By default, you have access to a sort of spreadsheet containing rows and columns. You are allowed to edit the cells, add the desired information (both text and numbers), and save it to Statistix default format. In addition to this, the program is able to import Excel and text files, as well as Access, Lotus, Quattro Pro, Dbase, and Paradox files.
Depending on the data contained by the imported files, you can perform a large number of statistical analyses and tests, such as: frequency distribution, cross tabulation, spline interpolation, Shapiro-Wilk test, polynomial regression, etc. Moreover, you can use data to generate kinds of graphs which you can customize afterward.
